Performance improvements

New importing capabilities
KeyShot 2 features an all new data import pipeline for Pro/ENGINEER on both PC and Mac. Unlike before, the importers don’t require Pro/ENGINEER to be physically installed, and therefore work much faster. When design changes are being made to the Pro/ENGINEER model, the model can be reimported into KeyShot without losing any of the materials assignment previously made. This will also work with any other supported file format.

Import
• Object hierarchy no longer flattens after object is moved
• Resolved potential scale and orientation issues after multiple saves
• Camera no longer jumps upon import
• Deleted object no longer shows up when new object is being imported
• "Merge with current scene" and "From Previous" are checked by default upon secondary import
• File > New now longer remembers previous scale and import settings
Importers
• Reimplementation of SketchUp importer resolves normals and scale issues
• Resolved duplicate object issue with ALIAS .wire files
• Ability to read Solid Edge part files
• FBX files recognizes assigned textures upon import
Miscellaneous
• Resolved issues with older scenes not opening nor importing into KeyShot 2.2
• Fixed issue where materials could not be deleted from the library
