Colors is the seminal fourth studio album by the band Between the Buried and Me, released on September 18, 2007. Described by the band as "adult contemporary progressive death metal",[citation needed] the album runs together as a 64-minute epic, split up into 8 tracks. In its first week it sold approximately 12,600 copies, reaching 57th on the Billboard 200--the first time the band cracked the top 100 on that list.

This album is almost always cited by fans as the band's magnum opus.

Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater (who was one of Between The Buried and Me's main influences when they had first formed their band) named Colors his album of the year, whilst Ultimate-Guitar.com also named it Album of the Year in their annual This Year in Metal.

On the inside of the CD case, along the spine there is a message reading "The cityscape burns brighter by the hour", and alongside the outer edge on the inside it says "Rebuild". Both messages quote lines from "Informal Gluttony."
